White is the most prevalent population in the US. Though blacks are the ones who perpetrate the most amount of gang violence in the country. I guess it just might be because of the socioeconomic differences. Blacks perpetrate gang violence mostly out of the need to protect their own black market operations or their own lives (them or us mentality, since blacks live in poorer neighborhood and generally areas with less employment, they resort to gang related activities like selling drugs to sustain themselves or their families) while whites don't really need to protect themselves as much and tend to perpetrate violence out of anger and hatred (most likely from bullying or rejection) hence all the white teens shooting up schools. I'm not saying it's any less valid but you get the point (hopefully).

2) Whites are forced to suppress their violent instincts and the threshold for violence is much higher in white schools. Blacks and Hispanics will quickly punch, shout, fight, and even shoot each other without thinking about it. Whites will refrain from fighting or shouting to a greater degree than other races. This causes anger to build up because there is no pressure release valve.
3) Whites are more individualistic and don't feel a strong bond to their own race and community. They are more willing to shoot them because they feel less attachment to begin with.

A “mass shooting” is a shooting where 3 or more people are killed. The vast majority of mass shootings are targeted hits carried out by black and ethnic gangs.
“School shooting” numbers are also inflated by any shooting at all that happens on school grounds. Most of which are, again, linked to gang activity.
