It’s mostly social. Having sex increases your value to women (because of hypergamous nature). Having sex is not only a stamp of validation for yourself but for others. People will treat you better the more sex you have. The more sex you get the easier it is to get more.

That is a foreign concept to me but I agree OP. There is no point to me.
I have Chad family members who just say "Sex is sex" and that as long as a girl wants sex you just should have sex with her no questions asked and no matter what but I just don't see it that way. I see sex with people you are not attracted to as just the utmost meaningless boring thing ever.
