What’s the most brutal rejection you’ve ever experienced ?

I can’t think of a specific one that’s how many times I’ve been rejected

Multiple times this happened: on campus I'd start a conversation with a girl and we'd talk sometimes 20 minutes, sometimes as much as an hour. They'd seem enthusiastic and laugh at my jokes. Then a few days later I'd see them again and not only they'd completely ignore me but would seem to be deliberately avoiding eye contact. Like wtf I thought we had something.
That's much more painful than a foid telling me she's not interested.
