I live very far from the central city, so it usually takes 45m-1 hr just to reach the station by public transport. Mind you, it’s not even by bus. I had to turn down one entry level part time job because it was too far from my home. Many of y’all live in the USA, and I hope you guys live closer to city centers where commuting for jobs is easier.

can't be very picky nowadays, but if I were, around 35-45min max.

There's jobs in city centers?

The longest I’d commute is probably like an hour, i really dislike long car rides.

of course it was part time. jfl at waging. it's now impossible to even get full time slavery. you have to sign up for part time and work your way up the ranks to a full timer, assuming they're not just using you and have no plan of ever giving you that.

2hr on foot. Too poor to afford train ticket.
It was part time job that I accepted because it's better than starving and being homeless

30 min by public transport

Luckily I only had to do that for a few months before I saved enough to buy train tickets regularly
then your travelled time reduced to how much?. You must be living in underdeveloped country bruh, in my country travelling anywhere only costs maximum 2 dollars. The cost does not even constitute more than 5% of the salary

With a train ride, it became 40-45 min.
10min train + 30-35 min walk

The train ticket cost equivalent of 1.10 American dollar. But I got paid like $9 an hour and worked only 2-4hrs depending on how busy they were.

It depends entirely on how much I like the job and how much it’s paying.

well, the main office I start my day at is about a 40-minute ride, because I live outside the city. but I have to commute to different job sites everyday, and sometimes they're over 2 hours away. so ... I hate it. but it's all I can get right now in IT.

30 minutes on foot. I don't have a car and I hate public transport.

Maybe a 50-ish minute walk I could bare.

35 maybe 40 min drive
