I want to know what you guys like since I keep seeing people shit on Gacha games

I play FGO because I like the story, and sometimes I play Wuthering Waves. In my opinion, Wuthering waves story is bad, but I like the gameplay
I heard the gacha in that game is hell and literally nothing but bad things about it except for the story is it really that good

The story is very good, especially if you like Fate and visual novels in general, however, it takes a while to get really good. Most people skip the whatever parts and go straight to the good part, which is what I did.

I actually remember one example of a "whale" gacha player from a few years back, who spent thousands of dollars on one game. he was single, unemployed, late 30s guy who who only had some money to spend because of an inheritance, as he was old enough to get payoffs like that.

The developer in this talk even says that they regularly call the players who pay the most in their games to discuss the game with them, which I imagine is standard practice for most of these gacha games as well. Besides that she says that she started off with working in the gambling industry before moving to the mobile games industry, which is very telling about how these companies operate on its own. Very interesting talk, I would recommend it (and with "interesting" I mean in the worst possible ways, of course).

For these mobile game companies thousands of dollars is nothing. They have whales who can spend 20 000 - 70 000 USD in a month. It's crazy.
I remember when Genshin Impact came out. Heard so many stories of dudes spending 800 - 1500 USD on day one trying to get the character they wanted and then immediately quitting the game if they couldn't get it. Money is nothing to these whales, or normal gacha addicts either really.

I highkey recommend limbus company it's the most f2p friendly game yet the story is very well written and draws from literature so maybe you can learn some stuff there isn't an abundant amount of characters so the story is easy to follow and you aren't bombarded by giant boobs every second.

Limbus Company but FGO is up there as well a shame it's close to its end in JP. When they release FGO 2 or something I'll finally be able to join a gacha on its release.
Uma Musume was fun but there are too many troons you have to interact with (you have to join a club just to get some rewards and shit)
