children's anime pisses me off because THEY HAVE SO MUCH POTENTIAL BUT NEVER USE IT. Take pokemon for example, I think of a million different plot points and characters for it but they always follow the exact same formula for 1000 episodes. "Pokemon of the week gets kidnapped by team rocket!!"
Atleast modern slop never had any potential and you can just enjoy it for what it is

Read Dandadan manga before the anime released. Wasn't impressed back then. Feels like some type of inferior shonen.
