It would just seem fake. You can have an amazing personality that is perfect for someone like her, but the most defining thing that will decide whether she wants to be with you or not is how you look. It's also the one thing you can't control.
There's no blame here since you can't decide what you're attracted to. But to me it would just feel unreal, that a person couldn't ever love me for myself, but rather the very opportunity to even talk to them is dictated through the appearance.
