What would you be willing to do to gain 10cm? answer seriously and honestly plz
I picked the 1 in 3 chance, if I lose I go from 5'6 to 5'2. Both are terrible but it won't make a difference as I barely leave my house.

I think losing 2 beauty points is a death sentence for me. I can't afford to be autistic AND have a sub-par face.
On the other hand, I can't exactly afford losing 10cm either, as that would put my height down to about 5'9" and completely negates any height advantage I once had.
Dying in about 1 year obviously isn't worth it.
If I go to jail for 15 years, I'll be almost 45 when I am finally out. That's going a bit too far to have Jojo's height.

Worst case scenario, I'm average-ish height and can still SEAmaxx while still being unable to do anything in the West. Best case scenario, I become an absolute MOGGER in terms of height and perhaps that would override the autism failo completely at that level.

mathematically it does work that way, but the -10cm outcome can easily lead you to rope yourself, which is way worse than what the number tells you.
you are right that it's not the full picture.
as another example, it could be a 1 in 100 chance to gain 1000 cm and 99/100 in losing 10 cm, which would be +10 cm EV, but those numbers are deceptive.
but since it's 2/3, i take this bet.
it's all about how you value gaining 10 cm versus losing 10 cm.
if +10 cm improves your live to liveable but losing 10 cm you're still subhuman then it's a good gamble.
