Actually, I am a white male from a middle-class family. I live in an ordinary but beautiful suburban community. The lawn in my house is neatly trimmed. There is a Tesla Model 3 and an F-150 pickup truck parked in the garage, and a small swimming pool in the backyard. In summer, I like to listen to Travis Scott's music by the pool and drink a bottle of chilled soda. Our family has "Family Pizza Night" every Friday evening. Everyone gathers around the kitchen island to chat. My parents always tell me, "You should make the most of the last year." At school, I often speak up in class and can even come up with some "diverse perspectives" that they didn't expect. Sometimes, I will sincerely tell them, "Actually, I think the girls in our class perform much better than the boys." They usually nod and smile, genuinely believing that I am supporting their position. I like sports, especially basketball, football and tennis. On weekends, I go to the local gym with my bros to lift weights. The sweaty feeling is very satisfying. I also chose several AP courses, such as AP US History and AP Calculus, but every AP English exam drives me a little crazy. Last time I fell two points short on the Essay, I went to my teacher and she said my analysis was "not deep enough". I told myself I couldn't go to McDonald's next time, I had to lock in. Those who say I'm "privileged" may just not see how seriously I look at life.
