How realistic is this? i mean it sounds good but you think Yang can make this happen?

To be honest, the odds are extremely slim. For it to happen 4 events would have to happen:

1. Yang wins the democratic nomination
2. Yang beats Trump
3. Yang convinces both chambers of congress to pass a bill introducing the new taxes required
4. Yang convinces both chambers of congress to pass a bill for UBI

Even #1 is very unlikely....but whats even less likely is #3 and #4. Case in point...name a single senator that supports UBI.

With all that said it's still worth it to support andrew yang because:

1. He's still the best option
2. Him getting on the debate stage will allow him to discuss UBI on national television and potentially get more people on board with UBI
3. A vote for him is, for all intents and purposes, a vote for UBI, therefore if he does OK in the primary (say, gets even 3rd and 4th place) then there's a chance other (more mainstream) politicians might include it in their platform in the future.
