I can't even get my parents to to stockpile food. I'm gonna have to do it, myself. Problem is that I can't buy ammo and the weapons we have aren't good enough. The area I'm in is very rural. This where people are going to run to when shit hits the fan, so in the end, this place will get hit hard with squatters in conflict with the people that own the land they're stealing.

If somebody gets mad enough for getting kicked out, a single uncontrolled house fire could destroy the whole town.

That sucks. They'll be the first to beg you for your stash though.

It'll take time time before the nomies make it out your way. Most will kill each other in the cities first if all goes south. Most ppl are pretty dumb when it comes to this stuff and won't realize their peril until way too late to get out.

I just bought a weapon and ammo yesterday. What worries me most isn't the virus, its supply shortages and ppl running out of money bc their work shuts down. Then scenarios like the one you described. Landlords kicking ppl out en masse and then ppl going madmax.
