My teen years (13 years old) is when it all came crashing down and reality slapped me in the face over and over again.

I was very lonely as a child. I was mostly ignored or bullied, and never had many friends. I often went days, sometimes weeks without talking to anyone besides my mom. I'm slightly nostalgic for it since it was better than the current agony that I have to endure.

Parents obsessed with my grades. Father who beats me if I don't have allmost perfect grades on every fukin test.
In school, bullied, had to physically fight to get respected every year. When people don't mock you in front of you but still hate you from distance, I still call that bullying. One "friend" who appeared to be a moron.
Overall I don't miss it at all.

Bullied: yes, until I learned to mask autism.
Friends: fake friends, people who didn't care about me as much as I thought at the time, a couple people that I kept enough distance with to never trigger the "go away subhuman" protocol. So basically no real connections.
Nostalgic: fuck no.

From kindergarten to HS, by basically everyone, the school headmistress even had a specific nickname for me because during recess I was the only person out of the about 200 kids or so who had nobody to be with and just wandered around the entire time.

did you have friends?

A few, the same ones the entire time period I mentioned above, I don't even know how I've managed to befriend them and up to HS they only spent a minority of their time with me anyway.

are you nostalgic for it?

Despite all that shit, honestly, a bit.
