I have an iphone 4, I've had the same phone for most of the 2010s. No point in upgrading since it still works, and I barely ever use it tbh, not sure why I even have a smartphone.

LG Tribute on Virgin Mobile (how fitting). Nobody in my family has a cell phone, so there's no family plan for me to leech off of. Any mainstream carrier (like Verizon or AT&T) is $80+/month, and requires a contract. On Virgin Mobile, I have a no contract plan that gives me unlimited everything for $35/month. (Granted, the internet is only 4G, and goes down to 3G after a certain amount of use). The phone itself costs $50. Since I'm not tied into a contract, the phone costs more upfront. I don't have the money or interest to keep upgrading my phone, so I don't mind keeping the same model til it dies. I think it looks and works well.
