What The Hell Is LARP?

What is LARP / LARPing? People keep say I do it, but what the hell is it? Is it good, bad or neither?

The biggest example that comes to my mind is the weirdos who like to go out in public and dress up as medieval knights, and have pretend duels.

LARP = Live Action Role Play. In other words people are accusing you of LARPing (role playing) as a 56 year old, aka pretending to be one. If it makes you feel any better I genuinely believe your age. It must suck to be old and accused of lying about being old.

I think of role playing as dungeon and dragons or similar games. That's what it was in the 1980's.
If I was not a virgin / had a date, why would I be here?
It sucks being 56 - and still no sex.
This is frustrating as he'll.
It is not just the sex component, it is the loneliness.
I could solve sex with a doll or prostitute - but I'd still be lonely and miserable.
I want to do activities, whether here in New York, or half way around the world, but have no one to do it with.

LARP (Live Action Role Play): Make up an imaginary story that you get satisfaction from telling others and you try to convince others (also yourself) that it's true.

Ex. That 5'2" ugly Indian guy on reddit made a long story about how a 9/10 white blonde girl sexually molested him and he wants help and support. Is he LARPing?
