But to be honest, Christian sins feel pretty outdated in a modern industrial society. Greed, in a capitalist and industrial system, is good - the more capital, the more leverage for action. A tech billionaire now enacts far more positive aggregate change in the world through R&D and philanthropy than a Saint who gives sandwiches to the homeless in his neighborhood.
According to Noah Harari, the Christian view of greed was based on a malthusian economy with no growth; in such a scarcity economy, someone who had more wealth than others had necessarily taken it from the share of someone else. In these days, it's not true anymore.
And besides, ugly men need money a lot more than normies, for several reasons.
Also, all these sins are mostly caused by a mood disorder, not a conscious choice
