I feel like this question is extremely layered, and this is like the only place on the entire internet that it can be discussed somewhat civilly without someone calling me a pedophile. My personal belief is that the age of consent should be exactly at the drinking age, if I'm not mature enough to drink a beer, I'm not mature enough to have a kid. But that also raises the question, what magically happens at 18 that makes someone an adult, and why do foids think that 18 and 16 is like a 30 year old dating a 6 year old? There's just so many questions to this shit.

I think 16 is fine, people have a good enough grasp at this age of what sex is and what it means, many people are already having sex or at least know of it long before 16 anyways so it really wouldn’t matter tbh.

16 is about right. The problem isn't really the age of consent, it's how extreme society views men who violate the age of consent. It views them as paedophiles, and it as a crime akin to genocide. If a man, of any age, (consensually) fucks a 14/15 year old, it should be treated as a small crime. Like speeding. Because it is.

You can't even tell he difference between a 14 year old and an 18 year old half the time. And the whole function of puberty is to make a girl/boy sexually attractive. Why do we have to pretend it's not natural for a man to be attracted to a girl with hips, arse and breasts? It's innate. And 14-15 year olds are all fucking anyway.
