imo, columbine. the characters eric harris and dylan klebold basically have unknown motives of why they did it. and the shooting itself was hours long with alot of terror and tense moments. its interesting to read the theories on why they did it. some say they got bullied, others say they're born sociopaths, while some even say it's both. this also happened in 1999, before school shootings were even a common thing in the US. what would you say is the most interesting mass shooting?
