The main goal of a terror/ER attack is not in itself to kill people. It is to traumatize and instaure fear in the enemy's mind by permanently altering the enemy's sense of security and shattering their (bluepill) beliefs.

Therefore, to be successful the attack must:
- be particulary shocking or brutal
- be mediatized as much as possible
- carry a powerful message or vindication

Targeting and killing a single high ranking individual (such as a president) will have much more reach and impact than killing 20 random normies.
An ER event that is on video tape and has a lot witnesses will gain a much broader reach than an ER event that happens behind closed doors.
Finally the attack must carry a clear and powerful message that explains its purpose.

Thus, despite ER's attack bein a total operation failure, he still was able to reach great infamy.
This is because his message and motivations were simple and well written down in a manifest that resonated with many of us.

I still exactly remember that day of 2014 when I learned about the ER shooting and read about his motivations.
My thought was: shit, this guy is exactly like me :blackpill:

Def killing people

True, our messages will never get through these numskull normie heads anyway though. Revenge and freedom from this shithole is enough

It clearly also depends on who you kill. If you were to kill 5 Hamudis this would barely make the news

One thing that makes an attack famous is the ammount of visual media there is associated with the attack and the perpetrator(s). ER had lots of selfies and videos, he is famous because of those. People who idolize those criminals will have media to make edits out of. Another example is Brenton Tarrant, he livestreamed his massacre. The person could have an iconic outfit or haircut to be remembered clearly, like Dylan Roof with his bowlcut or the Columbine faggots with their long coats and KMFDM t-shirts.

Originality also plays a role. Columbine fags pioneered a whole genre and many of the unremarkable shooters are just their copycats. Their genre consists of targeting a school with the excuse that you wuz bullied and shiieeet, wearing dark clothes, kmfdm t-shirt, an edgy pin (like sum commie or nazi crap), pretty much the whole school shooter stereotype. There are so many wannabe disciples of columbine

Brenton Tarrant also pioneered a genre. His genre consists of religiously/racially targeted attacks that are livestreamed, accompanied with a manifesto document and the use of guns that have slogans about previous acts of terror written with white paint on them. There are so many wannabe disciples of Brenton.

Going ER is faggot behaviour in my opinion, it's like commiting suicide for attention.

Make sure it is recorded/livestreamed so it gains lots more attention online. Even if social media sites remove it, it can lead to a Streisand effect with more people hunting down the footage.

It depends on which one. ER simply became famous because of this what you said, but he wasn't effective in his actions. You have to be effective, and as history has shown, killing innocent people changes nothing. You have to think outside the box
