There isn't one there's a before an after and the bit in the middle. You're alive in the middle bit and you're not alive in the before an after parts, but you eternally exist as part of the universe in all three in some form. You can see it as a burger with the meat in the middle and two slices of infinite bun either side. Only the meat is your life but the burger itself only exists because the meat is between two slices of burger bun. So the burger is eternal even if the actual meat is not. You can only enjoy eating the burger meat fatty though it is because it is in very limited supply, the bun defines the burger without which there would be no meat and therefore no burger at all.

The usual: the souls of all are weighed by their merit. Did they seek truth, meaning, and virtue, or surrender to vice and ignorance? Before the only Justice there ever was, the sins and triumphs of each and every person will be considered. Afterwards, each will be punished insofar as he is guilty, or rewarded as he is atoned for.
Truthfully, I spend relatively little time thinking about this. I want my life here to be justified on its own merits, and my actions not simply to try and "tip the scales" in my favor.
If I am wrong, I have lived well enough, I suppose, in my own sad way--and it will either be oblivion, or the hell of some other religion. (In which case, I would feel indignance at a life lived righteously enough being punished).
If I'm right, then I may at last have the peace that was never granted me here.

I believe that we go through a sort of 'recycling' process after we die, the details of which I won't go into here. However, I'll say that we don't come into existence at 'birth,' and we don't leave existence at 'death,' they are part of a cycle.

Some of the things I have read about patients maintaining some semblance of consciousness after what should be a biological death is intriguing. Sam Parnia is a leading researcher on the scientific effects of this.

Afterlife is basically how things you do during your lifetime affect the world after you die. Most impact you make is by having children or creating something useful. The first one is excluded when you are an incel. In other words we have minimal impact on this world we could die today and nobody would give a fuck.

Near Death experiences aren't actual death experiences, no-one comes back from an actual death experience unless they're Jesus Christ, or that guy Jesus Christ brought back from the dead. Taking him out of heaven so that wasn't very nice.
