I think it's a mistake to assume that if there is a creator of this planet that he would be an omnipotent and good being. What about some of the gnostic ideas? Or what if there simplgo y isn't a creator being? I don't think materialism is the answer because it's basically retarded and gay
If god isn't good then he can go fuck himself. I didn't do anything to deserve the situation I find myself in.

I wouldn't call myself that because I'm unsure that
A. There even is a singular god
B. If there is, it created us and is omnipotent
Assuming God exists, I wouldn't say it is "conscious" or "omnipotent." These words are categories, and it wouldn't make sense to put God under them. Nor is God mutually exclusive with spirituality, if you adopt the view that God entails everything that is, and everything that isn't. God could be the universe itself. And God could emanate throughout all material existence through the spirit.

I'm surprised you can be anything but an atheist as an incel. If there were a god, you wouldn't be suffering like you do now.
Having spiritual or metaphysical beliefs does not necessarily mean you worship an anthropomorphic omnipotent being in the sky who's concerned with human affairs 24/7.

JFL at those who've been mindrotted by forced churchgoing, rip.

They're interesting and mirror buddhist ideas in some noteable ways
My understanding is that a lot of spiritualism (mainly like gnosticism/the occult and paganism like Buddhism/Bonism) would trace their beliefs back to an original faith which was spread east by the Aryans. It would explain the presence of a a few things like
A. Many different groups believing in human life force energies that are lost during orgasm
B. The sokenkruz being prevalent throughout the world in ancient history
C. Similar religious mythology and tales of blonde hair blue eyed advanced foreigners from China to mesoamerica

Not a religious person, but my beliefs and values align with those of Christianity. God tells us not to be religious

He tells us in 2nd Timothy that doing religious acts are for our own self righteousness and not for the Lord. His wants to have a relationship with us and by receiving his spirit we can.

do you think it's the shared origin that leads to their similarities? I was thinking it could also be some greater universal framework in the minds of the wise and spiritual, but as for the aforementioned ideologies, your theory would make sense.
now I am wondering if there are any examples of spiritual ideologies with separate origins that evolve convergently.

isn't this more or less just saying to not go around doing arbitrary stuff in the name of God?

No, the bible makes it quite clear that we not to do religious acts. Examples of this can include in the Catholic Church, where adherents are instructed to kiss Jesus feet, as well as having very ordered and formal ceremonies.

There was a clip from pastor Steve cioccolanti about being religious, I’m sure I can find it.

I worship power, strength, and evil as a weak rule following coward

atheism is a retarded jewish disease of nihilism that was made to support homosexuality in men and promiscuity in foids, I'm not even willing to entertain it.
I've never particularly looked down on people for being 'atheist' in the literal definition of the word—I think it's fair to not believe in a God that interacts with us or cares about us, if any at all. However, the way you put it makes me realize that there really are two different kinds of atheism that exist in the modern-day, and most atheists follow the kind you described. I've never been able to articulate exactly why I despise it so, but luckily you did it for me.

It's so obnoxious, too.

atheism is in it of itself an unscientific belief system and is not objective. it asserts with absolute certainty that there must be no form of God at all. scientifically, if something can't be proven or disproven, you don't go around asserting with absolute certainty that it does not exist. it seems like most who figure this out just start telling people they're agnostic, which is the most scientifically "correct" view. and it seems like most of the time they lean towards atheism and a more material view of reality, which also makes sense because the burden of proof technically falls on those who assert that there is God.

I think much of the confusion stems from the fact that atheism has kind of become an umbrella term for the aforementioned scenario. Atheists are either pretty dumb and obnoxious or just haven't put this much consideration into it.
