Politics is the basis of civil society and civilisation, and how society functioned and progressed as a successful unit throughout history without revolving into nomadic primitive tribal wars like in central and sub Saharan Africa. Political evolution is a key factor of our success.
Personal political beliefs should not be based off preconceived, misunderstood or under developed ideologies which you fall back on cos it gives you a sense of identity. Your personal politics should be a manifestation of your personal values, morals and worldview.
To engage in politics therefore requires enough of an intellect to understand the scope and dynamics of politics. This is something that requires learning. You do your own learning. Some low IQ people will never understand politics and should not claim to have intelligent opinions on politics, other people are too lazy to engage with politics, and others still are extremely passionate about politics
You make your own decisions, about how knowledgeable you want to be on politics. Think through policies, ideas and political structures and come to your own conclusions as to what is the most appropriate. Do you value individual liberty for example? Must liberty sometimes be sacrificed for the greater good? Your politics is a reflection of who you are, so if you claim to be a political person and have political beliefs, make sure you know what you’re talking about,
