It’s good in the hands of smart people because it can be used to parallelize work with having a last check by someone qualified. But smart people know the limits and know when it’s hallucinating.

For normal people it has destroyed any critical thinking thinking. That means they are relying on AI to tell them the answer and they don’t question it. So they became even more NPC like.

idk... I do multiple side gigs whenever I have free time and there are things I know pertaining to the nuances of those side gigs that AI doesn't know as well.

They just gave bland answers that it found and summarized on various forums on the net.

AI can help a lot but it's not 100%. I read it's IQ level is fairly low but who knows... most likely in the future, it will be far smarter.
