Librarians from metro are pretty cool. Maybe the only monster that gave me cold sweats.
Halo flood is pretty cool too. 1 spore can destroy a galaxy they say. My favorite would probably be a combat form of a human marine or a covenant elite, where you can see their horror struck last dying expression imprinted on their dangling head.
Quadrilla from path of exile 2 is kind of cool. Its a gorilla with 4 arms.
Werebulls from serious sam. I love the audio of their bellows and stampedes.
Half the monsters from STALKER games are awesome. Intriguing and terrifying.
My favorite are probably Bloodsuckers, Chimera, Psydogs and Controllers.
Psydogs basically create after images of themselves, or decoys rather. You end up shooting the wrong ones and 1 dog puts up a good challenge. Look at that cute face
Bloodsuckers go in and out of invisibility and jumpscare you. They have a scary design and probably one of the most painful deaths ever if it latches onto ur face with its tentacles and sucks u dry
Centaurs from fallout
Amputees from painkiller level Asylum are nightmare fuel. They start crawling up walls and ceilings before they jump at you.
Headcrabs from half life. Great design also they have cute squeaky ambient noises and i like their running and jumping animations.
Berserker from gears of war is kind of cool.
Subnautica has a couple good ones like leviathan reaper and ghost leviathan. Makes u feel insignificant and somehow claustrophobic in a vast ocean.
