The news is all about Bakhmut these days but why is this location so startegic that both sides are throwing everything they have at it?

Apparently both sides are throwing so much supplies at it that Russia is low on shells and Ukraine will not be able to conduct any counter offensives in the fufutre because they already used everything defending Bakhmut.

Nothing its just an anticipated symbolic meme victory because Russia is incapable of winning any actual strategic objectives at this stage in the war

Its literally some shit insignificant rural town with a population of like 500 people now

I cant argue pro or contra your reply but some how there must be some startegic importance otherwise why throw so much at it and by this I mean both sides. Do you realise what it means when the statement is made that Ukraine cannot conduct any counter offensives? It means they only defend and that now Russia will be on the attack for the spring and possibly early summer . This is an advantage for Putin.

Do you understand now? Because who depletes all their equipment that they cant even counter attack. I dont get it. But thats assuming the reports are true

Its because it developed symbolic meme value over the past 8 months that Russia has been attacking it but there's nothing actually important there

It's been a strongly fortified town since 2014, it's a crucial strategic point for whoever wants to control Donbass.

probably a strategic routes for supply lines or something. Maybe if Ukraine loses that location then their supply routes to specific areas are cut off making rapid supply replenishment much more difficult or something like that.

Bakhmut has no value anymore. The whole city is destroyed, no power, no water, every building is demolished. Even if Russia wins in Bakhmut it'll be all the more hilarious when they have to withdraw later on. The Russians are going to get completely steamrolled by all the Jew weapons from NATO countries pretty soon. They might not retake Bakhmut for a while, it sounds like they're going to head south and liberate all the land toward Crimea.

you mean Putincels want to push from Bakhmut towards Crimea?

No the Ukrainians seem to be withdrawing from Bakhmut and are going to head south toward Crimea.

Okay i get it. But then if reports are true that Ukraine already used so much resources on Bakhmut what will be the point of going south without enough equipment? It is obvious that Crimea area is heavly gaurded because it is a warm water port for Putincels.

I hope you understand how all this lines up? Thats why I was saying what was the point of putting in so much resources, time , human resources and energy into Bakhmut and then later cant even properly attack other areas.

It could be that NATO is willing to send LOADS of equipment to capture Crimea because that area wont fall easly given its strategic warm water port status.

I think you got that backwards. It's Russia who has spent a lot of resources trying to capture Bakhmut. All the NATO jew weapons like Leopard tanks and Challenger APCs haven't even been used in the war yet. Ukraine's counter offensive hasn't begun yet. Russia no longer has the capacity to defend Crimea or all the land that Russia currently occupies between Crimea and the Dnipro river.

If that is the case then we in for a summer of counter offensives from the Ukrainian side then

Yeah I think this summer is gonna be interesting. Shit is really gonna hit the fan when Ukraine reaches Crimea and starts to attack it and Russia won't be able to stop them without using nukes. What's Putin gonna do? I hope he drops a tactical nuke on Zelensky's head.

Ah lets just wait and see. You know both sides use propoganda and deception. Maybe Putincels have supplies and men kept back to deal with those counter offensives, maybe Ukrainian was cucking Putincels making them believe they threw all their manpower into Bakhmut.

Either way yes in this summer shit is going to hit the fan for both sides. Who ever wins those battles will have the upper hand from then on. So sit back, get the popcorn and watch the shit unfold.

'Its just pointless battle over some insignificant town :soy:'.

'Not like in the West where they do everything rationally. Just look at Verdun :soy: '.
