I think it was @BrendioEEE that shared a map of the single male:female ratio in various cities across the US. Two of them favored males: New Orleans and some place in New England. Everywhere else from coast to coast, there are more single men.
If you're just talking about avoiding debauchery, the region from Idaho to North Dakota would probably be the best, reaching down to Utah and Kansas on either side, skipping most of Colorado.
