Continuing with my theme of deconstructing societal narratives, I wanted to talk about masculinity. We hear a lot about it, but there doesn't appear to be one single definition. Some say it's "being born male," but we know there's more to it than that. I have a pretty simple view of masculinity. It's the capacity for violence. That's what masculinity fundamentally is: it's the capacity for violence. Isn't it refreshing to hear the truth? A tall, wide build, Chad isn't attractive based on looks; it's about what the looks indicate. Generally, what we consider "good looking" in men is what is the most dominant appearance. One that's also showing good health markers, of course, as well.

just be strong bro

No masculinity for your face

I agree its more based on your personality/psychology. Women can be masculine but due to genetics and hormones, the frequency is different. The most mature women ive met were also the most masculine too

Masculinity = your frame + height + face. Gymmaxxing, facial hair, and money is the oofy doofy version of masculinity.

Those factors contribute to the capacity for violence in males, so the appearance of it in females can be called masculinity. A psychopathic male will be more capable of extreme violence.

And why are those things important? That was my point.

Essentially masculinity means to lack neoteny and display high testosterone levels

That's what masculinity fundamentally is: it's the capacity for violence.

Finally someone else said it. Females are attracted to violence, or more precisely to dominance expressed through the capacity for violence. Across species, including humans, females tend to select mates who show traits linked to survival and reproductive success: strength, aggression, territoriality, and the ability to dominate other males. A male who can fight off rivals, secure resources, and protect offspring is more likely to pass on his genes. Over time, females evolved to prefer those traits because they gave their young a better chance to survive.

Examples are widespread in the animal kingdom. In gorillas, females mate with the silverback who controls the troop. He is often violent, aggressive, and dominant. He fights off challengers and asserts control through force. In lions, the dominant male drives off or kills competitors. When a new male takes over a pride, he may even kill the cubs of the previous male so the females return to estrus. In elephant seals, males battle violently for beach territory. The winner secures a harem and breeds with dozens of females. The losers are forced to retreat. They get no access because the dominant male defends the territory and drives off challengers.

What does lack of neoteny and high test do or mean? For what purpose of these traits or lack of them serving?

Finally someone smart

Like you said, innate aggression and capacity for violence.

But it should be mentioned that the ideal male face in our time is masculine and slightly feminine or even androgynous, which could symbolize a softer or tamer side. A completely masculine face (ogre) is considered ugly, as is a feminine face on a man.

"Pretty boys" have masculine faces. They have good bone structure and display health markers. This notion that they're not masculine is a cope; they also tend to be tall.

They have narrower jaws and tend to be skinny even if they gymmax, Of course, they look distinctly masculine next to real foids, but next to hypermasculine men, they appear feminine...which is my point.

Skinny men are faster and more adept at persistence hunting. But your point stands, I think it has to do with birth control pills if you know their effect on mate selection.

It's bravery, courage, wisdom, intelligence, and foresight. The opposite is feminine - ignorance, foolishness, cowardice

Social construct.

In the worst case scenario, when shit hits the fan and push comes to shove, the most violent, strongest, least inhibited ape-man wins. This was especially the case in the age of the caveman, and for some reason it is coming back in the current age of degeneration.
Why have foids started selecting savages again?
Why were they selecting civilized, altruistic males before?
Are incels the actual product of eugenics, or rather, of artificial selection?

Height=presence,confidence=masculinity

Jack Donovan says it's: "strength, courage, mastery, honour" as he defines them. He says that on this primal basis, masculinity is culturally universal. The Mutant Leader and Batman in TDKR are both hyper-masculine, even though there are massive differences. Same with the thug and the knight as archetypes.

masculinity is just height, frame, bone structure, and dick size. Everything else is cope.

All of that aside for dick size only matters because of the physical dominance and advantage it gives in fights. Also based Dick-pill

It's whatever they want it to be so long as it suits them and fits their agenda :feelsokman:
