There are ugly people with this trait, so it can´t just be all about genetics, halo and lookism? Is the brain of "charismatics" more developed/better functioning compared to normal people?

Now imagine a non good looking, non steroid filled guy with a receding hairline or who looks average or even like this coming out to that music (a song where he himself is literally singing about how sexy and attractive he is to women) and acting in that exact same way:-

He would become a meme at least and would at worst would be hated and have his past looked into. He would likely become a heel (bad guy) in the wrestling industry based on solely this. People wouldn't be able to fathom why he is that 'charismatic' and 'confident' and would find it creepy and cringey.

Charisma is not looks in and of itself but it only resonates with other people once you've achieved a certain status in a system based on facial looks or other physical factors like being naturally intimidating.
And by "system" I don't necessarily mean mainstream society in this case. Organized crime and underground cults are full of charismatic sons of bitches for example.

A lot of you say charisma equals looks. But why then are cult-leaders like Manson and David Koresh charismatic? Or Winston Churchill? Also Bill Clinton came out of nowhere in Arkansas and somehow became the most powerful leader in the world. He does not have a super-chad look to him.

I just don´t believe its about looks, it must be something more. Like fast neural connections, high iq/eq, machiavellian personality traits and so on.

And yet looks still interweave heavily into the value of your ability.
Here's the thing is that even if you are good with words, people are primal and put way too much emphasis on the superficial, and the distinctionalities of people based on things that can't be controlled/ rigid things of frame and body/ genetics.
In that, people loan themselves to hyperanalyzing differences.
Because the human race analyzes people by competitive value foremostly. It's what we're primarily concerned with. Doing anything less seems like mollycoddling/ patronizing. And makes us feel un-regal in general.
So even if you have good immaterial/ behavioral, it won't be emphasized as much as things that determine power in society. Like looks, height, ability, reflexes, dexterity, nimbleness/ flair.
