Yes, I can tell you that it is very possible to focus solely on your career and money and still be an incel. I did this strategy.
I currently make pretty much right at 100k as a software engineer at an extremely well known university. I am fully work from home, and have the flexibility and support of management to work from anywhere, and any hours that I choose. I am almost 32 years old now.
I have a ton of issues meeting people that genuinely like me for who I am. I did meet one, but she eventually told me that she just didn't really see a future with me and went and married a doctor that makes more money. She still talks to me almost every day, and tells me frequently how she hates how much he works, and just wishes she could have someone like me, but with more money. So I'm really unsure if you can call it "genuine attraction" if she's pretty much telling me that the only reason she would pick him over me is because he makes more money (my 100k vs his 500k in a few years when he finishes residency).
