But what if we, hypotetically, didn't give them any reason to "attack us"? What if we were just a group of people talking about how hard is life when you're ugly? Do you think society could still try to attack and "mock" us? Or they would simply ignore us?

One example i've got in my mind is the "red pill" subreddit, which is far more "reasonable" than the average incel community (even if i consider their advices not applicable for the most of us). They got quarantined for no reason apparently, along with braincels etc.

So i think that they would probably try to silence us, maybe in a more moderate way.

There is something that stops society to admit that uglier people have it worse, it's truly something.

They want men to be so-called "real men" who don't complain and who work hard for this system. It was already that way for years before even the lookism forum and the like. I used to see it on social anxiety forums, on loveshy, even on r/ForeverAlone when the word incel was barely coined. Men complaining about the same desperate plight of crushing loneliness and just not being perceived as good enough by women and they all walked on eggshells; the language was very apologetic, very tame.

This. I joined because I have autism and a few other health problems. I experienced endless social rejection (being held from promotions, no friends, female rejection, poked fun of at work) yet society puts the blame on me whenever I lose motivation to work hard. They say things like “women can sense the misogyny in your facial expressions” “you have no one to blame but yourself. As soon as you take responsibility things will improve.
