with Nivea shaving foam, and for aftershave I actually decided to use witch hazel gel (which includes alcohol) followed by a normal moisturising cream.

I actually have I think 4 safety razors in my room - Wilkinson Sword plastic one, WS butterfly, Parker 99R and Rockwell 2C.

Every third say, I shave in the shower, with a sharp double.

That's brave!! I've shaved in the shower but never with a safety razor! Only cartridge razors.

Sometimes I try electric shavers but I don't think I've ever successfully gotten a good shave from one.
