What she’s dealing with isn’t “loneliness”, it’s the lack of purpose.
No kids, no designated role but doing both roles in a relationship at once(but instead of domestic side being her kid which she would have motherly attachment to, it’s her father and siblings which she has no biological maternal feelings towards), no free time because of how busy her life is. She’s slowly realising she’s been living as a slave practically with no thought on her own, completely deviating from how humans are supposed to find meaning in life aka building more life.

There were periods when they had to manage the whole household, be a caregiver to multiple people in the family, and perform all the domestic responsibilities. That in turn provided stability to her husband so he could be committed to his breadwinning responsibilities long-term.
