Mentalcel is legit, especially after being 10 years behind everybody in normal life experiences. You will never become normal even if you magically become attractive.
My take on the whole mentalcel situation is that it's basically someone that isn't ugly but also isn't attractive enough trigger primal lust in women. Usually due to autism or other issues, they don't have the social skills to maintain a healthy social circle with lots of women in it, nor do they have the skills to convince women that they would be ideal boyfriend/husband material. Keep in mind that being boyfriend/husband material is completely different from being the guy that they want to get fucked by. Usually being boyfriend/husband material means having a car and stable job to be able to beta provide (after high school) and you also have to have some social proof/social status. She doesn't want to be seen with some average looking guy with no friends and terrible social skills. Oh yeah and you have to be able to entertain her like a dancing monkey.
But obviously, as we've seen numerous times before (tinder experiments, the low funtioning autist on youtube etc), when you're an 8+ male that can trigger primal lust in women all of this goes out the window.

They're legit, but few and far between. Only incels I can think of that are good-looking enough to be considered mentalcel are Gambler and Youngincel.
98% of mentalcels are fakecels. There are some legit mentalcels but not nearly as many as they claim.
Social competence can make a lot of difference for many men. So absolutely, lacking that can make one a incel.
