Very upbeat and optimistic

I can hear the "polka" which is also heard in German, Czech, and other Central European-Central East European+West Balkan music.

In the US, we have quite a bit of West Slav/Central European+German influence, especially in the NorthEast and MidWest

What's nice is this influence extends to some of the music, food, and just general culture of a lot of the region, especially in smaller cities there.
