Do you like them? Do you own one? I have one with blue switches. And i had other keyboard too, but i'm not sure what switches it had. New one kinda feels not that good while tapping like it was with older keyboard with other, but it's not that loud.

I have a small cheap one with blue switches, I like it very much

I dont like them, i returned mine and got a regular gaming keyboard instead

big fan of em

noisy bitches

They're good, though I have a soft spot for bucking spring mechanisms. I'm currently using a mechanical keyboard I got from a father who's son killed himself(probably for reasons related to the modern dating market).

What is bucking spring mechanism?

I need at least a cheap mechanical keyboard. Mushy membrane are garbage. I'm a true elitist.

Love 'em. Have one with Cherry MX brown switches. Not too noisy, but good feedback.

It's an older mechanism that was used in a lot of IBM products but they provide great tactile feedback and they're still considered desirable to this day with Unicomp selling new and slightly modernized versions of the Model M. If you've ever seen a movie and heard tactile sounding keyboards it was likely buckling springs you heard.

I bought one in 2023

I like it tbh

i love my full metal keyboard

I don't get the hype. I like the feel of normal membrane keyboards more.

Don't like them

Mogs the normal office ones

I actually like membrane keyboards, you don't have to worry about spilling drinks on them because they're dirt cheap.

So are some of the mechanical ones i got my first for 6€ and my current one is 20€

I stopped using them because I am a button masher and they are noisy. I now use scissor switches 100$ keyboard and I am happy with it.

They are kind of a waste of money.

Blue switches feel very nice but are loud as hell.

Finally i decided to go back to common membrane keyboards, i value silence a lot.

I like them, build my own

Is building more expensive than buying? If yes, then building keyboards is not for me.

depends on what you buy for parts. typically you'll save the labor tax on products

I have a typewriter style RGB one that ive been using for years, i like it

Unless you're playing esports where the extra speed actually matters, it's a complete waste of money as your average $20 keyboard will last you just as long as mechanical one which costs like x5 as more.

I like the click

I bought one about two years ago and it was a big improvement from my original keyboard

it's good tbh
