What are your hours like? Do you get to work remote?

Generally when I fly out I will be gone for around a week, sometimes more depending on the site. 95% of the time the sites are close to home, hour or 2 away. When I get tax free work it is overseas work, usually New Zealand or other countries in the pacific. I won't disclose the name of the company on this forum for some obvious reasons.

The majority of what I do isn't practical/outdoors, but working on excel/word docs

I work in a tiny side office tracking orders from various shipping hubs. The pay is poor and I have around $60,000 in debt from a Master's degree that I am not even using.

I used to be a study director in biotech, but most companies in STEM recycle their R&D personnel with the end of each project as a lot of "STEM" jobs in the private sector have been converted to gig and permatemp positions.

you'll find out soon enough .On a serious not I'm stoooodycelling and skillmaxxing to eventually make the revolution a reality. It's going to involve a lot of hardwork, consistency & stress tolerance , but hey given that I've nothing to lose so be it.
