Sometimes about having a girlfriend, sometimes about suicide sometimes about making my own game etc.

i used to have dreams about making my own game til i realized how that’ll never happen same for the girlfriend thing

I regularly engage in maladaptive daydreaming and I have a lot of very specific ones.

But in all of them, they take place in an alternate universe where I'm an giga-pretty boy.

In some of them I'm with a very loving non-literal mommy gf type.

In some of them I'm with a yandere gf.

In some of them I'm not with anyone but I'm an extremely popular pretty boy, but there's this one woman in particular who is my "secret admirer" and she stalks me and writes me love letters anonymously.

Some of my daydreams are so specific they even have side characters, jfl.

I would always daydream back when i was younger about being with my friends then in middle school it was more about being respected by classmates since that’s when i became an outcast. Then in high school i started imagining of being with my past oneitises or once again being respected.

I would even dream of being a villain at times. Sometimes I would imagine being certain characters in movies and games and would imagine my classmates in them too. It was a great way to cope but when school ended I never saw those idiots again.

So now i’m left with thinking of nothing. I miss the times i could day dream of that. Problem is when you daydream a lot especially ab crushes You end up being up for disappointment cuz you kept thinking of a false fantasy. Any music or movies i listen or watch makes me think of classmates and it hurts. i want it to end


tldr: what do you guys daydream about?

The very best times of my life which were only two:

1. Sitting in the back of my giga Chad childhood best friend’s grandmother’s van and eating a large pizza with him late at night in it in their driveway.

2. One particularly beautiful Christmas my mother made for me where all of my presents were wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper and a cute toy Rudolph the red nosed reindeer was sitting on a large one of them with a battery powered light up nose but I don’t remember if it was turned on and glowing at the time or not?

I also probably got several SNES games that I wanted along with candy inside of a stocking on the way to my living room where the presents and our Christmas tree were.

Understand that my dad was one of those workaholic ultra responsible men types as well a gun nut and deer hunting hardcore outdoorsman type so we never (while he was alive anyway) had one of those fake plastic pussy trees with the breakaway limbs but rather one of those dangerous fire prone real life pine trees that he’d usually chop down himself for said purpose after going into the woods to find it.

So because of this it just added to the authenticity and specialness of the experience.

Though we were extremely lucky the oldschool hot Christmas lights (pre-LED technology) didn’t cause it to become set on fire burning it and our entire house down any of the times my dad got us one.

Also I very likely experienced the joy of my fat female cat walking joyously through the wrapping paper afterwards which was funny because of how much she loved flopping around in it and the little sounds it would make as she did so.
