I think I'll definitely get a strong flashlight. And for the right hip a large knife or a tactical whip. A knife does not stop an attacker according to "experts", only if you hit them in a vital area like the neck. Although if you can literally chop off their limbs with a large knife/machete I guess it would be quite effective

For self defense, I carry a knife.
Affordable and simple to use.
Gerber Strongarm.
It’s a strong and durable knife.
Also, the sheath is nice and has several ways to wear it.
I prefer scout carry, or horizontally across my back.
I just wear a loose shirt and it is a lot less obvious than wearing the sheath downward so it hangs down my leg.
The downside is that someone could pull your knife from behind you and you just gave your attacker a weapon.
So, it has its disadvantages to traditional carry.
Another good option is Spartan Blades Enyo.
It is a lot smaller and easier to conceal. But still a fixed blade knife.
But, it is only for if I get trapped and can’t run away.
My first option for self defense is to simply run away.
