What do mods see when trying to access IP address of a user using tor?

(i don't know much about how tor works so excuse me if it's a dumb question)

If a .is user is using tor and mods try to see his IP, what do they see?

Do they see a tor server's IP? An encrypted IP? Or something else?

Let me explain for u :

They see your IP Address !
 
IP address is pointless. If you use gsm network, there's like 5 addresses for the whole city. If you use ADSL you're likely to have dynamic address. Noone uses IP to tell if user is the same.
