It's likely such absurdities as the "sub 8 theory", the "oofy doofy" pill, and other various coping methods didn't exist during that time; though I suspect the bluepilled brainwashing preventing them from more direct wrongthink against the hypergamous, bluepilled hegemony was more prevalent in the users of those times...

I guess the definition might have been looser; past experiences and relationships probably didn't count in making someone less "incel".
