If the state of reality gets worse and worse I don't see why not. At least with the redpill there was a sense of (delusional) hope and that working hard might still get you results. The blackpill completely eviscerated that but also reflected decreasing upward mobility in the social scene for unattractive males that the redpill was largely ignoring or dismissing.
