Sick of getting IQmogged by friends who know so much about philosophy, technology, evolution, politics etc. I always sit there like a quiet, boring nobody. I want to change that.
What kind of books should I read to be able to larp as a knowledgable smartfag?

Just lol at having friends

All of those topics are boring.

Sounds like your friends are fart huffers.

They don't like sharing information as much as they like presenting themselves as knowledgeable.

Find something interesting and relevant.

What would you recommend?

No point of wasting your time with something that you have no inherent interest in. Become proficient in something that actually interests you, it will make the learning process a lot easier.
I'm not interested in anything.

Nothing at all? It doesn't have to be related to the current climate or academics.

I know a lot about Japanese porn and manga, for example. I wouldn't discuss such things with most people irl, and thus I keep it to myself. Most interactions I would have with people would be surface level, simply cordial. I'd either have to find friends that align with my interests or find an online community. Or I continue to remain within myself, the choice I have taken, and enjoy my copes alone.

What do you do in your free time?
Go to the gym, shitpost on the internet and read the occasional wikipedia article. I also like going on walks sometimes.

you can't read just to get smarter, you have to learn

Are you content with that, intrinsically? It seems that it only bothers you when you have little to contribute when you are in an intimate social setting.
I'm depressed and would ideally like to lie in bed and watch movies all day. But I know if I want to fix my life I have to interact with people and I won't get far if i'm a boring weirdo that no one wants to be around.

They sound like a bunch of dorks

Read Mein Kampf :bigbrain:
