I think it’s cringe and performative. I think it’s more masculine to simply be your true self and try your best to let logic lead your life and dictate most of your decisions.

But men not being able to express their feelings because they’ll be seen as weak is one of the reasons why so many guys struggle mentally. The emotional side is just as important as the logical side even if logic should take the lead in most situations.

And repressed feelings and insecurities can lead to rage, hatred, envy, which can then lead to violence and suicide.

Especially since men have a higher propensity for violence than women do. It even shows in the ways we kill ourselves, we pick more violent methods that we know will be guaranteed to work.
