The problem is technological society, which destroys our connection to nature and instead forces us to lead unfulfilling lives that cause us infinitely more psychological suffering. Do you think there were depressed and suicidal incels in agrarian medieval Europe? Of course not, people back then were only concerned with daily survival and were content with that.
