What signs of degeneration of a particular state or nation do you consider the most important ? Have I not yet found a more accurate view of the world than through demographics? Politics, economics, and culture are the continuation of demography. The three signs by which the whole West and Russia are also doomed (Low birth rate, high average age and most importantly the power of the elderly) are Gerontocracy, when people who have been a couple for a long time sit at home and nurse their grandchildren, and not engage in politics.

The fact that alot of males arent getting relationships or female attention is demotivating for young men in a society so therefore alot just drop out and think of themselves as worthless.

This could be due to hypergamy and therefore declining birthrates.
