I take a 40mg dose of melatonin once every week. it causes you to pass out and have twenty to twenty-six hours of the most warm, comfortable, dreamy sleep you will ever experience. it literally feels like you're in heaven resting on a bed made out of fluffy clouds. you will be almost completely non-functioning and have zero energy for 48 hours afterwards though, hence why I only do it once a week

if you want to try it now is a good time since most people have time off of work/school. melatonin can be purchased at almost any supermarket or drug store in the form of pills, capsules and candies. the candies taste better and are more fun so I recommend those. be warned that 40mg is almost 10x more than the usual limit and is medically considered an overdose. it will also severely fuck up your sleep schedule.

yeah I suggest trying a few different dosages when you first get in to it. everyone has a different sweet spot depending on their age, weight etc. for me that is 40mg but it's different for everybody so you just gotta find your favorite amount.

yeah 5-10mg is the usual dose used for medical purposes and has no significant health risks so I would start with that

I’ve just been writing down the concept and lore of the game as well as mechanics in google docs. I needed some assistance with the coding and programming so I’ve been reaching out to a few people.
my coding skills are very entry level. I know how to set inputs, variables and [while] loops, which is basically all I need for what I'm working on. right now I'm just working on making a graphic interface but sorta procrastinating because I have no clue what to do in that department

yeah it is my all time favorite. I suggest taking the dose about 30 minutes before sleeping to give the full effects time to kick in

My body adapts to it too quickly. By the time you had 5, it no longer works.
