What are your dreams like?

Mine generally involve me (and sometimes people I know) being killed or tortured in horrific ways. The worst ones are the happy ones though. As soon as I realize that it was just a dream I feel extreme despair. I haven't had a dream in a while so I have been spared of this mental anguish. What about you?

95% nightmares of dying, getting injured, war, the world ending, getting shot, getting stabbed, falling from heights, being in an airplane crash etc.

5% nice dreams where people like me and talk to me / girls are attracted to me / I own cool stuff like nice cars or large houses

Horrible lately, I think because of the stress from the hysteria regarding the Idaho killer.

Last night, I dreamed that I was stuck in Mexico, and I had to deal with the authorities as I tried to make it back to the United States, but then the authorities wanted to detain me for some reason - and then I woke up.

They usually range to mundane one's like wandering alone through the streets/school campus to nightmarish one's like being trapped in a building

I usually have nightmares.

They're fucked up and horrible, often tormenting me with visions of the past, and of my dead mother, and often plagued by the white-eyed demons, and if not any of that, then horrible hellscapes exploring other themes such as extreme loneliness, cosmic horror, and my own claustrophobia.

And yet, somehow, my life has become such a shallow joke of constant torment and suffering, that my nightmares have become preferable to waking reality.
