You meet outside of a coffeehouse, give each other an awkward hug, go inside, fire away a burst of questions which you have memorized. You order, and offer to pay for her coffee. She politely decline at first, then accepts. You sit down, and keep talking. After a couple of minutes, the conversation flows more naturally, like between you and a colleague out for lunch. After two hours, one of you hints it may be time to leave, and the other agrees. Outside, there is another awkward hug. And you say you will stay in touch. The next day you text her and asks whether she would like to meet again. She replies and says she had a good time, but no thanks.
