if I transfer to another job within the same company, I’d get that same job? Even if I apply for something different? I do carts at a supermarket for reference.

I just don’t wanna do carts anymore. But I literally applied for something different and they ended up giving me this job. That’s why I’m skeptical to even transferring but I’m also tired of looking for wageslave jobs.

Oh, yeah so they do that mostly according to what jobs they need filling the most at the time & basically ignore your preferences on the application. But if you've been working there awhile, just talk to them about wanting to move to a different department. They probably won't immediately move you, but you can at least get the process started. I used to work at a Walmart back in college lol.

Yeah, I would say so. Usually they wanna keep you in the same position for like 6months before letting you move.
