Androgenic alopecia is caused by DHT diminishing hair follicles. Nofap will do NOTHING to stop this. If you want to treat androgenic alopecia, you really only have a few options:

1) Minoxidil
2) Finasteride
3) Dutasteride
4) Ketoconazole shampoo

And if you want to go really hardcore, spironolactone (or some other T blocker).

There's a few other things that MIGHT work like microneedling and RU58841, but the above listed meds are the only ones tried and true.

But I can tell you nofap is DEFINITELY not going to do ANYTHING to stop or slow down your hair loss.

It's really hard to say what it can do when most people doing it are probably largely affected by placebo effect after buying into it enough to try. But probably no significant benefit for the average guy, only for fap or porn addicts.
