In my experience the it is usually a general denial of the Blackpill and of the patient’s level of attractiveness. Being told you “look fine” by a therapist is a frustrating experience when you know they are just going through the motions of rose tinting in the name of suicide prevention and are actually uninsterested in helping you navigate your way through a harsh reality about your life.

What are the most common lies you have encountered? Let me know in the comments below.

they don't tell lies, they only take what you say and twist it into a placebo pill to comfort your mind, that's all. They're experts at this.

my therapist had told me I wasn't ugly once

Well put tbh.

Really? What did they say exactly? Did you say it and then they agreed or was it the other way round?

Good response, It’s a manipulative tactic to keep someone in therapy.

Go outside and meet people to cure social anxiety.

That a weak jawline and shit cheek bones are sexy

They don't even lie. They say platitudes.
Once i said to my therapist that i can't manage small talk and i never understand when a conversation can be considered finished. He told me: "When does a conversation finish? When it's finished".
Ok, cool. Take my 80 euros.

They use endless platitudes and lie.

Everything that cunt arbeD told me were lies attempting to drive me to despair and suicide.

Therapists are only capable of telling lies. Nothing they say is true.

Basically this. They water down what you say back to you. My therapist always said things like "not necessarily X will always happen (even if does 99,999% of the time).

Yeah, there are so many jobs where it's like, "people get PAID TO DO THIS?" And it just sickens me.

Being a critic who writes "reviews" of shit is one of them.

Being a therapist is another.

These people get PAID to sit there and ask you questions, never giving you any advice, and if you press them on something, give you the most vague, meaningless platitudes ever.

And then our culture protects these wealthy turds, championing the supposedly PROVEN BENEFITZZZ of therapy.

Of course, since the shit they do "studies" on is so abstract, there's no way of actually proving this, which is just what they need to keep it up.

Oh yeah, religion is another. Get paid to talk about a nonexistent deity.

Meanwhile, if you're stuck doing menial labor, you're fucked.
